I started designing jewelry about three years ago with my mother and it has now become a passion! Like so many others in today’s economy, I have recently been laid off. After much deliberation and prayer, I’ve decided to put the talent God has given me into a business I enjoy. With Homemade Designs, I have the added blessing of spending more time at home with my family.
God has blessed me all my life.
My husband, Buddy, and I have a blended family of three beautiful and rambunctious children, Angelena, Isaac and my step-daughter Bailey. My parents have always been involved in my life, guiding my steps as a child and supporting me daily in everything I undertake!
My life is fully devoted to God first, family second, and then to those God continually brings into my life. Although my walk with Him has not always been what it should have been, He continues to love and forgive me as I draw closer to him. I thank God everyday for his amazing grace!
Now, about my jewelry. In designing my products, you will find my beading is silver plated, gold plated or sterling silver! I do also use non-silver or gold plated as well. Other materials used are glass, wood, porcelain, Swarovski crystals, and much more! As I design children’s jewelry, I always try and use hypo-allergenic materials and will do so on any product if requested.
I love designing jewelry and consider it a talent God has blessed me with. Although I love everything I make, I understand not everyone’s taste is the same! If you desire a special color, a certain style, have a photo or a sketch of your own design, contact me and we will work toward satisfying your request. Most requests are processed and shipped within 4 to 6 business days!
I design necklaces, bracelets, earrings, ankle bracelets, rings and bookmarks! (Coming soon…men’s and boys’ jewelry.) I have also made rosaries, key chains, and phone charms! If you can dream it, I will do my best to make it! I enjoy the challenge of coming up with fresh ideas and take great pleasure in bringing joy to others!
